Inspections are required on process vessels both whilst they are operational and during shutdowns or turnarounds.

Maintenance to structural fabric or samples need to be taken, dropped objects retrieved or sensors put in place………….

All require engineering, for many of our projects engineering of support ancilliaries, means of access and methodologies all have to be engineered.

New challenges are constantly being faced – often doing things that have never been attempted before

We created the means to inspect internally the World’s largest Butadiene tanks without taking them out of service.

We engineered the removal and replacement of the base heating system of the World’s largest Single skinned LPG tank – while it remained in use.

We created a telescopic mast which we could erect from the track bed of a rail tunnel through a 400mm hole in the crown and elevate a camera 40m vertically to inspect the 4m diameter shaft – all in a weekend
